The UltraDNS Managed Services Portal offers several different advanced Traffic Management solutions to meet your various managed Authoritative DNS needs. The list of Traffic Management solutions includes:

• Web Forwarding - Redirect HTTP or Email traffic from one target to another.

• SiteBacker - A monitoring and failover service to avoid disruptions of a failed server.

• Traffic Controller - Define and manage load balancing configurations to modify weighted traffic away from unresponsive servers.

• Simple Load Balancing – Provides basic monitoring for inactivity, and allows the use of a backup record to be used in place of an inactive response being returned.

• Directional - Provide origin-based routing and the ability to optimize traffic flow of various types of DNS requests based upon the location or source IP address of a site visitor.

• Simple Monitor / Failover – Provides a monitor that tracks if a website is available or unreachable, and alerts the customer of the unavailability via email notifications.

• Resource Distribution – Enables the grouping of IPv4 or IPv6 addresses that you can specify the manner or order in which they respond to queries.
