DigiCert CertCentral Connection

The DigiCert CertCentral Connection feature allows a UltraDNS customer to establish a secure connection to the DigiCert CertCentral service, which allows DigiCert to automatically manage Domain Validations, and in the future, additional services.

 

 

Establish the Connection

  1. Click Link to open the Connection window to display your Account ID and a Secret Key. It is mandatory that you have these values saved.

  2. Use the Click to Copy button to easily save these 2 values, as they are required when you configure your Domains on the CertCentral platform.

  3. Click Ok, saved once you have copied your DigiCert Connection Details.

  4. The DigiCert CertCentral Connection process begins the initiation process, and the status will change from Pending to Established when completed.

 

 

Once the DigiCert CertCentral Connection is established, any of your Domains that you designate as being visible to DigiCert will be able to be managed by CertCentral moving forward.

Reset the Connection

Clicking the Reset button will temporarily suspend the DigiCert connection and provide you with a new Secret key that needs to be entered on the CertCentral platform to re-activate your connection.

Unlink the Connection

Clicking the Unlink button will completely sever the connection to DigiCert, preventing CertCentral from automating the management of your designated Domains. The connection will need to be reestablished along with designating the Domains again on CertCentral.
